Torani | Make It Puremade Campaign

Since 1925, Torani has been creating flavors for coffee, cocktails, desserts, and more. After nearly 100 years and 150+ flavors, they asked me to help launch their latest product line—Puremade Syrups and Sauces.

In addition to touting Puremade’s product benefits, Torani wanted this campaign to emphasize its broader mission of "Flavor For All, Opportunity For All®"— highlighting the company’s commitment to creating opportunities for its customers, partners, and communities. 

I worked alongside a talented team of creatives to spearhead a campaign to:

  • Promote Puremade product benefits without undermining other product lines (like Classic or Sugar Free).
  • Build Torani’s equity as a certified B Corporation and showcase Flavor For All, Opportunity For All® initiatives.

Our team developed print, display, and video ads using heroic imagery and language geared to personify Puremade as a stand-up sauce/syrup for standout drinks. 

To highlight Torani’s Flavor For All, Opportunity For All® mission, we created a Puremade Stories video series featuring organizations supported by the Torani Cafe Opportunity Fund.

A Stand-Up Sauce For Stand-Up Drinks

I interviewed Veronica, founder of Glitter Cat Barista, about her journey to create a community-focused, LGBTQIAP+ organization changing the coffee industry through competitions and events. I used our conversation to write a 3-minute script that captured her inspiring story, which our team brought to life with the help of a talented animation studio. 

The campaign also included landing pages, emails, blogs, and more. In the end, we won an Anthem Award for Puremade Stories, and Puremade products flew off the shelves—outpacing Torani’s sauce competitor by 2-to-1.
