Aurora Solar, known for its trusted design software, faced challenges breaking into the solar sales software market with its Sales Mode product. In a landscape tarnished by bad-faith actors and customer skepticism, Aurora wanted to position Sales Mode as the go-to tool for trustworthy solar sales professionals.

As lead strategist and writer, I began by analyzing customer interviews, social listening, and industry trends. A key insight emerged: solar sales reps need tools that are simple, accurate, and responsive, empowering them to adapt quickly and build trust with clients. From this, we crafted a campaign positioning Sales Mode as the trusted tool for professionals committed to transparency and efficiency.

Built For Trust

I worked with designers to develop print ads tailored to four customer segments—sales reps, installers, sales managers, and partners—and wrote scripts for short videos (6, 15, and 30 seconds) that highlighted Sales Mode’s ease of use and reliability. 

Though the campaign’s launch has been delayed due to budget constraints, Aurora is now equipped with compelling collateral to position Sales Mode as a game-changing solution that rebuilds trust in the solar industry.
